In a jar, add the warm water, the warm milk, the vegetable oil, the sugar, the dry yeast powder and mix everything until the yeast is completely dissolved.
Cover the jar with plastic wrap and let the mixture ferment for 10 minutes.
After this time has passed, add the salt, the wheat flour and mix everything until well combined.
Cover the jar with plastic wrap once more and let the mixture rise for 40 minutes.
Once this time has passed, remove the dough from the jar, place it on the counter and divide it into 18 equal pieces.
Next, take these pieces of dough and shape them into small balls.
Transfer 3 of these balls to the center of the counter, add one teaspoon of unsalted softened butter to each dough ball.
Now, flatten them with your hands, shaping them into circles.
Sprinkle each of them with 10 grams of grated mozzarella cheese.
Next, stack one dough circle on top of the other and gently press it.
Shape the dough into a bundle, sealing it closed, turn the dough over and flatten it, shaping it into a circle.
Repeat this process with the entire dough.
In a skillet over medium to low heat, add a drizzle of vegetable oil.
Add the flattened dough we prepared and let it fry on both sides until golden brown.
Serve it with a sauce of your choice.
