Homemade Condensed Milk

Into a pan, add the sugar and the milk, turn the heat on medium and wait until it starts to boil.When it starts to boil, lower the heat and stir every 2 or 3 minutes.When the liquid has reduced and it starts to gain some color, looking like condensed milk, mix nonstop to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan and burning.Once it starts to gain consistency, get a saucer left in the freezer for 15 minutes or in the fridge and drip some condensed milk on it. If you tilt the saucer and the condensed milk doesn't drip down, we've reached the right consistency. Beforing doing this test, turn off the heat to prevent the condensed milk from burning.Now take it to a mixer and beat for 15 minutes, it will cool down as you beat.You can mix it in a blender, but let it cool down a bit before putting it in the blender, otherwise you can end up ruining your equipment. We recommend making it in the mixer, it's the best option.After beating for 15 minutes, it's ready, keep it in the fridge.
