Caramel Sauce
In a pan, put the sugar and stir until fully melted, gradually add the water, always stirring until a caramel sauce is formed. Pour the caramel into a baking tin and spread, set aside.
In a blender, put the eggs, the sugar, the wheat flour, the milk and the butter, blend then add the coconut flakes, blend it all together again for another 2 minutes. Pour this mixture into the baking tin with the caramel.
Place a larger baking tin filled with water under the flan's mold to make a double boiler.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 1.5 to 2 hours (baking time varies depending on the power of your oven).
