Meat
Into a saucepan, add the peeled potatoes chopped into dices and add enough water to cover all the potatoes.
Add the salt and let the potatoes boil for 15 minutes or until tender.
After this indicated time, drain all the water and transfer the potatoes to a bowl, add the butter and parsley to taste, mash very well into a smooth puree.
Now divide this potato mixture into 4 equal parts.
Grab one of these parts and using your hands, shape it into a ball, then make a well in the center of the potato ball, shaping it into a scoop.
Repeat this process with all the potato mixture.
Transfer all these 4 potato cups to a baking dish.
After that, into a skillet over medium-low heat, add a drizzle of olive oil, add the onion, the crushed garlic cloves and stir until golden brown.
Add the ground beef and stir well until all the meat juices have fully evaporated.
Season with the salt, the sweet paprika and the black pepper, add the tomato sauce and stir all the ingredients very well for 2 minutes, then set aside.
Back to the potato cups, equally divide 50g of grated mozzarella cheese into each of them, add 1 tablespoon of ground beef into each potato cup and equally divide another 50g of grated mozzarella cheese all over them.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.
Serve.

My potatoes were so sticky, I could hardly roll into a ball. The meat mixture was outstanding! What should I do next time? Thank you!

Do not cook the potatoes until they are too soft, and make the puree while they are still hot, do not let them cool down.

I am going to make this tonight … but can I use the mashed potatoes in a bag? rather then peel potatoes & boil ?
