In a pan filled with hot water over low heat, start by adding a small, fine sieve.
Secure the sieve with a spoon in order to lock it into place during the recipe.
Leave the sieve in the water for a few minutes until it heats up well.
Apply some vegetable oil to a paper towel and rub it around the edges of the pan.
This will prevent the water from rising and overflowing.
Next, place the egg in the sieve and let it soak for 2 minutes.
After this time has passed, season with a pinch of black pepper and let it soak for another 2 minutes.
If you want, you can also add salt to taste.
Then, dip the egg in the water to make it cook faster.
But keep an eye on it to prevent it from getting over or undercooked.
Serve.
