Ground Beef
Mashed Potatoes
Cut 900 grams of peeled potatoes into dices, then add enough water to cover these potatoes, add salt and bring to a boil until cooked through.
Drain the water from the potatoes and transfer them to a bowl, add the mozzarella cheese, the salt, the black pepper and parsley to taste, mash and mix it all together very well until a smooth puree is formed. Set aside.
Cut the onion in half, get one of the halves and cut it into strips, then chop these strips into very small dices.
Grate the peeled carrot and chop the pepper into very small pieces.
Into a pan, add the oil, the chopped onion and the chopped pepper, sauté for 2 minutes, add the crushed garlic cloves and sauté for another minute.
Add the ground beef, sauté until it releases some juices, add the salt, the black pepper, the sweet paprika, mix it all together very well and cook for another minute.
Cover the pan and let it all cook until the water dries up.
Add the grated carrot, mix well and add some parsley to taste.
Add the eggs and mix very well.
Into a baking dish, pour some olive oil and spread well, add the meat and evenly spread it, make it as flat as possible.
Cover the meat with the mashed potatoes, spread well, make it flat and with a fork, make several lines over the potatoes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve.
