Mashed Potato-Stuffed Ketchup Croquettes

In a large skillet over medium to low heat, begin by adding the water and let it heat up.Add the ketchup and stir everything well until it dissolves completely.Next, add the wheat flour and mix everything thoroughly until it becomes a smooth and uniform dough.Remove it from the skillet and set aside to cool.In a large bowl, add the potatoes, the salt, the black pepper, the butter and mash everything very well with the help of a potato masher until it becomes a smooth puree.Add the grated mozzarella cheese and mix until well combined.Once the dough has cooled, cut it into smaller, equal-sized pieces.Next, take each of these pieces of dough and roll them into balls.Now, flatten them until they are neither too thick nor too thin.Add one tablespoon of the potato mixture we prepared and seal the dough.Repeat this process with all the dough and the potato mixture.In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the vegetable oil and let it heat up.Add the croquettes we prepared and let them fry until golden brown.Serve.

  • 500ml of Water
  • 150g of Ketchup
  • 350g of Wheat Flour
  • 4 Diced, Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
  • 150g of Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • Vegetable Oil

Add the ketchup and stir everything well until it dissolves completely.

Next, add the wheat flour and mix everything thoroughly until it becomes a smooth and uniform dough.
