In a skillet, place the butter and over medium heat, let it melt.
Meanwhile, cut the onion into dices and place them in the skillet, sauté until golden, add the garlic and let it brown.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and set aside.
Cut the hot dog sausages into round slices and set aside.
Put the sliced cherry tomatoes and the sausages into the skillet, mix well and let it cook for 3 minutes.
Add the table cream, the salt, the sugar and the black pepper, mix very well and add the tomato paste, mix again.
Now into a saucepan filled with boiling water, add ½ teaspoon of salt and a drizzle of olive oil, also add the penne pasta, mix and let it cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente.
After this indicated cooking time, drain the water from the pasta and transfer it to the pan with the sausage sauce, mix very well.
Transfer all the pasta to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the cheese all over the pasta and take the baking dish to a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
Serve.
