Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium to low heat, add the water, the salt, the spaghetti pasta and cook for 10 minutes.
After this time has passed, using a ladle, scoop out some of the cooking water from the pasta, set aside and drain the rest.
Next, peel the lemon, chop the peel into cubes and set aside.
Squeeze the juice from half the lemon we peeled and set aside.
Now cut three garlic cloves into thin slices.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the unsalted butter and stir until fully melted.
Add 1 drizzle of olive oil, the garlic slices, the lemon peel and stir until slightly golden brown.
Next, add the juice of the lemon, the heavy cream and stir until combined.
Season with the salt and a pinch of black pepper.
Add the cooking water from the pasta we set aside and stir again.
Then add the cooked pasta, the whole garlic cloves and stir until combined.
Finish by adding parsley to taste.
Serve.
