For Garnishing
Into a bowl, add the eggs and the refined sugar, mix very well, add the oil and the plain yogurt, mix well again.
Add the wheat flour and lemon zest (optional), mix well.
Quick tip: Sift the flour before adding.
Add the strawberries and the baking powder, mix lightly until well combined.
Grease a 24cm cake tin with butter and flour and transfer the batter to this tin.
Spread and add strawberries to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 45 to 60 minutes or until golden.
Do the toothpick test, unmold 10 minutes after taking it out of the oven.
Sprinkle icing sugar on top, to taste.
Serve.
