Potato Chips

Start by peeling the potatoes and cut them into thin slices using a vegetable slicer.By using this slicer, they will turn out thin and will all have the same shape which will make all the difference.Next, transfer them to a medium bowl and add enough cold water to cover them.Mix very well to rinse the potatoes and drain all the water using a colander. Now, transfer these potatoes to a saucepan over high heat filled with boiling water and let them cook for 1 minute.After this time has passed, remove them from the water, transfer them to a medium bowl.Add enough cold water to cover them and stop the cooking process and drain again.Next, dry all of them, one by one, with a paper towel.In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom and let it heat up.Add the potatoes we have prepared earlier and fry them until golden brown.Remove them from the hot oil and transfer them to a bowl lined with paper towels to soak up the excess fat.Next, transfer them to a large bowl and season with salt to taste.Serve.

I used to make them alot if I couldn't be bothered walking to the shop for chips but I only used water to wash after pilled then I slice with a potato piller then cook still turns out the same
