Pickling
Start by cutting the cucumber in half then into thin slices.
Transfer all these slices to a medium bowl, add enough water to fully cover them, add the salt and mix.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it all soak for 1 hour.
After this time has passed, drain all the water using a sieve and set aside.
In a jar with lid, add the salt, the granulated sugar, the dried fine herbs, the black peppercorns, the dried bay leaves and the cucumber slices we prepared earlier.
Add the alcohol vinegar and enough water to cover everything,
Put the lid on the jar and shake it well to evenly spread the seasoning.
Take the jar to the fridge and let it chill for 24 hours.
Serve.
