Toast
Start by adding the ripe pears to a large skillet over medium heat with boiling water, stir everything and let it cook for 20 minutes.
After this time has passed, transfer everything to a large bowl and using a mixer, beat everything very well until smooth and well combined.
Next, strain the entire mixture using a cloth strainer.
If necessary, strain it twice.
After doing that, transfer everything back to a large skillet and add the sugar.
Turn on the heat to medium and stir everything very well until the sugar dissolves.
Now cover the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil.
Once that happens, add the juice of one lemon and stir to combine.
Cover the skillet again and let everything cook for another 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, brush the slices of bread with melted unsalted butter.
Place them on a large baking sheet and sprinkle sugar to taste over all of them.
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 ° C (400 ° F) and bake the slices of bread until lightly golden brown.
After the cooking time of the mixture has passed, turn off the heat and stir until the mixture comes down from a boil.
Then, transfer the mixture to lidded containers, place them in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours.
Serve with the toast we prepared earlier.
