Giant Cabbage Roll

Start by removing the core from the cabbage then transfer the cabbage to a saucepan.Add enough water to cover it and let it cook for 20 minutes.Into a bowl, add the ground beef, the cooked white rice, the salt and the black pepper, mix all the ingredients very well and set aside.After the indicated cooking time, remove some cabbage leaves with a fork.Cut the thickest part of the stalk from each cabbage leaf.Arrange 4 cabbage leaves on top of a nonstick or parchment paper.Spread some of the meat we prepared over the leaves.Roll all the leaves over the filling – make sure to tightly close the edges.Repeat this process until you’ve used up all the meat.After that, chop the onion into strips and spread them all over the bottom of a baking dish, then add the 2 giant cabbage rolls over the onions.Add the tomato chopped into dices.Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil, take to a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and let it all bake for 30 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the power of your oven.After this indicated time, remove the foil and let it all bake for another 15 minutes.Serve.

  • 1 Ripe Tomato
