Filling
In a pan, put the oil, add the chopped onion and the garlic and sauté. Then add the previously cooked and shredded chicken, add the tomato, the bell pepper, the paprika, and the salt, mix very well. Add the creamy soft cheese and mix, add parsley and chives to taste. Stir and set aside.
To make the dough, into a bowl add the wheat flour, the salt, the sugar, the olive oil or butter and gradually add the water. Use your hands to mix the dough. If necessary, add some more flour to reach the right consistency.
Knead it for about 2 minutes.
Pour a drizzle of olive oil/over on a table to stretch the dough into a circular shape, make sure it's not too thick nor too thin. To help you with the size, get the pan in which you'll cook the snack and check if there's enough space around the edges to close the dough over the filling.
Spread the creamy soft cheese over the dough, add the chicken, the ham, the cheese and oregano to taste.
To seal it, bring the ends together in the center of the dough. Make a small hole to let the air out and seal it again.
Spread some butter on a pan or skillet over low heat, just to brown the dough, transfer the dough to the skillet. Cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, keep an eye on it.
Flip when the bottom of the dough has browned, spread some creamy soft cheese on top, spread well then top with grated mozzarella cheese and oregano to taste.
Cover and let it brown. Top with tomato slices to taste.
