Super Creamy Yogurt Cake

In a bowl, place two egg yolks and the sugar, mix very well until it combines and a lighter-colored mixture is formed.Add the melted butter, mix again until combined, add 1 cup of wheat flour and mix again. Add another half cup of wheat flour and the baking powder, mix it all together with your hands until a dough is formed.Split the dough in half and cover with a plastic bag or plastic wrap.Get one of these pieces of dough and put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. Set the other piece of dough aside.In a bowl, place two egg whites and whip it with a mixer for 2 to 3 minutes or until soft peaks are formed. Add the sugar and the plain yogurt, whip for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add 3 tablespoons of wheat flour and whip again.Get the dough we've set aside, put it in an ovenproof dish greased with butter and flour, and press down on it, spreading it all over the bottom of the dish.Pour the whipped cream into the bowl as well.Take the other half of dough from the freezer and grate it all over the cream.Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 35 to 45 minutes.Once baked, let it cool down, unmold and sprinkle with icing sugar to taste.Serve.

  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder

  • 6 Tablespoons of Sugar
  • 400g of Natural Plain Yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoons of Wheat Flour

  • Icing Sugar (Optional)
