Into a bowl, start by sifting the wheat flour.
Add the salt and the sugar, mix well.
Then add the dry yeast powder and mix again.
After that, add the Coke and the oil, mix well. When you can no longer mix with the spoon, use your hands.
Transfer the dough to a table sprinkled with some flour and knead for 10 minutes.
Put this dough back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour.
After this indicated rest time, split this dough into 6 equal-sized pieces.
Using a rolling pin, stretch out these pieces until they are 10cm wide x 30cm long.
Next, roll them up into log shapes, sealing the tips with your fingers.
Repeat this process with all the dough pieces.
Once you’ve done that, arrange the 6 bread logs side by side, then put the bottom ends together.
Braid the dough.
Once you’ve done that, transfer this braided dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover it with a dish cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.
After this indicated time, brush a beaten egg all over the bread.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 35 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the power of your oven.
Serve.
