In a bowl, place the sweet starch, the egg and the butter, mix well until a crumbly mixture is formed. Add the baking powder and the salt, mix, add the milk and mix with your hands until a dough is formed, add the mozzarella and another tablespoon of whole milk, mix again until a smooth uniform dough is formed.
Place the dough on a cutting board and shape it into a rectangle, cut into 16 equal pieces.
Get a portion of dough and flatten well, roll it into a log shape then bend it into a horseshoe shape.
Repeat this process with the rest of the dough.
Grease a baking sheet with butter and parchment paper (optional).
Put the breads in this baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (356°F) for 20 minutes or until browned.
Serve.
