Syrup
In a blender, place the peeled and sliced oranges, the oil and the eggs, blend until well combined.
Transfer this mixture to a bowl, add the baking powder, the sugar and the wheat flour, mix it all together for about 3 minutes.
Grease a baking tin with butter and flour, pour in the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40 to 60 minutes.
To make the syrup, put the orange juice and the sugar in a pan, stir over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves.
Spread the syrup over the cake and serve.
