Filling
For Brushing
Into a bowl, add the milk, the sugar and 1 tablespoon of dry yeast powder, mix it all together very well until combined.
Add the egg, the melted butter, mix again for 1 minute.
Add the salt and gradually add the wheat flour, always mixing, add it until you've used all of it. Add 3 cups of flour and save the rest for kneading.
Once the dough gets firm, transfer it to a table, but before that, sprinkle with some flour and start kneading it. The flour will also prevent the dough from sticking to your hands. Knead for about 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover and let it rest for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
In a bowl, put 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter and the garlic cloves, take it to the microwave to melt, then add parsley and chives to taste, mix very well, add some salt, to taste, and set aside.
Once the dough has risen, transfer it to the table and shape it into a log - leave it slightly thick, don't stretch it out too much.
Cut the dough into equal-sized small pieces, you'll end up with about 12 to 14 pieces.
Shape these pieces into little balls and cover them with a cloth to prevent them from drying out.
Flatten one of these balls with your hands, shaping it into a circle. Then spread the garlic mixture we've set aside and cover it with grated mozzarella cheese.
Place another piece of dough over the cheese, fill it again and repeat this process until you've used up 4 pieces of dough.
Transfer to a loaf pan greased with butter and flour.
Repeat the process with the rest of the dough and transfer them all to the pan.
Cover the loaf pan with a plastic bag and let it rest until the dough rises and fills up the whole pan, that will take about 20 to 30 minutes.
Brush an egg yolk mixed with some milk all over it and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 40 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve.
