Syrup
Start by peeling the bananas and cutting them into round slices.
Transfer them to a saucepan, add the unsalted butter, the refined sugar, turn on the heat and stir for 5 minutes.
Then beat all the mixture very well using a hand blender until combined.
Once you’ve done that, add the milk, the corn starch and the vanilla essence, stir very well until the cream has thickened.
Transfer this cream to a baking dish and spread until flat.
Cover with a plastic bag making sure it touches the cream and let it cool until it reaches room temperature.
Now, in a small saucepan, add the Coke and the corn starch, turn on the heat and stir until thickened.
Once you’ve done that, pour this syrup all over the banana cream in the dish.
Take it to the fridge and let it chill for at least 4 hours.
Serve.
