Fried Meat Buns

Into a bowl, add the sifted wheat flour and the salt, mix well and gradually add the lukewarm water, mix well. When you can no longer mix with the spoon, knead it by hand.Once you’ve done that, add the olive oil and mix well until combined.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.Meanwhile, into a skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil and the finely diced garlic cloves, add the onion chopped into dices and stir until slightly brown.Add the ground beef and stir until it starts to release some juices.Season with the salt, the black pepper and the sweet paprika, stir until the meat has cooked through. Finish with parsley to taste and set aside.Once the dough has rested, transfer it to a table and split it into 6-equal sized pieces, then round each dough piece.Get one of these dough balls and stretch it out well, fill it with 2 tablespoons of the meat we’ve prepared.Using your hands, close the dough by folding it over the filling into a ball shape, repeat this process with all of them.Into a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and let it melt, add 1 drizzle of olive oil and add the meat bun, let it fry for 3 minutes on each side over low heat.Serve with a dip of your choice.

Ingredientes

  • 4 Cups of Sifted Wheat Flour (240ml Cup)
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 300ml of Lukewarm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

Meat

  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • ½ Medium Onion
  • 800g of Ground Beef
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Generous Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sweet Paprika
  • Parsley to Taste
