For Breading
Start by cutting the stick of butter using a large strainer.
Fill a skillet over medium heat with the water and bring it to a boil.
Add the butter in the strainer and stir until the butter has completely melted.
This process will help the butter melt more easily.
Once it has completely melted, add the wheat flour and mix everything thoroughly until you get a smooth, even dough.
Stop mixing and set it aside to cool.
Next, grate the mozzarella using the coarse side of the grater and transfer everything to a large bowl.
Add the onion chopped into small cubes, the oregano and mix.
In a small bowl, add the mayonnaise, the ketchup, the mustard, the barbecue sauce, the honey, the black pepper, the garlic powder, the onion powder and mix.
After the dough has cooled, transfer it to a countertop and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
Next, stretch each dough ball until it’s neither too thin nor too thick.
Add one tablespoon of the filling we prepared.
Fold the dough over the filling to close it and trim any excess dough using a cutter.
Repeat this process with all the dough and filling.
Then, bread each one by first dipping them in beaten eggs then coat them with panko breadcrumbs.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, place the snacks and fry them until golden brown.
Serve with the sauce we prepared.
