Different Type of Fries

Start by chopping the potatoes into smaller pieces and bring them to a boil in a pan filled with hot water for about 15 minutes.After this indicated time, drain the water.Get some of these potatoes and put them into a sieve.With a spoon, mash these potatoes until they pass through the sieve.Once you’ve done that to the potatoes, add the chicken stock, the egg and the parmesan cheese, mix well until combined.Now gradually add the sweet starch and keep mixing. When you can no longer mix with the spoon, use your hands.Now get a small portion of potatoes in your hands and round it into a ball. Repeat this process until you’ve used up all the mashed potatoes.Into a medium saucepan filled with hot water, add the oil and the potato balls, let them cook for 5 minutes. Once they have cooked through, these balls will float in the water.When that happens, remove the potato balls from the pan.Put these balls on a plate filled with sweet starch and coat them well in it.Take them to the fridge and let them chill for at least 1 hour.After this indicated time, get a knife and cut the balls halfway through, into an “x”.Then rub some starch into these slits.Repeat this process with all the potato balls.Now into a skillet filled with hot oil, add the potato balls and fry each side for 3 minutes.Remove them from the hot oil and drain them on a plate lined with paper towels.Serve with a dip of your choice.

  • 1 Tablespoon of Oil
