Breaded Fried Fish

Start by making diagonal slits on the fish then make slits in the opposite direction. The fish I’m using has been pre-cleaned inside and outside.Then season it with the crushed garlic cloves, by rubbing them on the slits and inside the fish, sprinkle the salt and the black pepper.Into a bowl, add the mayonnaise, the mustard, some parsley to taste, the salt, the black pepper, the sweet paprika and the oregano, mix all the ingredients very well.Once you’ve done that, spread this sauce all over the fish, by rubbing it very well between the slits and inside of the fish.Now, into a baking dish, add 1 cup of corn flour, place the fish on it and cover the fish with another cup of corn flour, bread very well.Once you’ve done that, into a very large skillet, add the oil and heat it up. Transfer the fish to the skillet and let it fry for 5 minutes. After this indicated time, flip it and fry the other side for another 5 minutes.Remove from the heat and let it drain on paper towels.Serve.

Ingredientes

  • 1 Whole Fish (800g)
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • ½ Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Generous Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 2 Cups of Corn Flour (240ml Cup)
  • 1 Liter of Oil

Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon of Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mustard
  • Parsley to Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Black Pepper to Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sweet Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon of Oregano

Into a bowl, add the mayonnaise, the mustard, some parsley to taste, the salt, the black pepper, the sweet paprika and the oregano, mix all the ingredients very well. 

Once you’ve done that, spread this sauce all over the fish, by rubbing it very well between the slits and inside of the fish.
