
In a mixer, add the olives, the fresh cheese breaking it apart, parsley to taste, the clove of garlic, the juice of half a lemon and blend everything very well until the olives are fully crushed.
Add a drizzle of olive oil, black pepper to taste, a pinch of chili flakes and blend everything again until fully combined.
Stop blending and set it aside.
Next, cut the piece of bread into slices and on each slice, spread softened butter to taste.
Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake until golden brown.
Then transfer the olive pâté to a medium bowl and spread it evenly.
To finish, add a drizzle of olive oil and dried basil.
Serve.
