Mashed Potatoes
Start by cutting the potatoes into strips then into cubes and transfer them to a large saucepan.
Add enough water to cover everything, turn on the heat, set it to maximum power and let it all cook for 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, the onion cut into small cubes, the egg and the breadcrumbs.
Season with a pinch of black pepper, the salt, the garlic powder, the sweet paprika and mix everything very well to combine.
Transfer all this meat to a sheet of parchment paper and spread it evenly.
Then, cut it into strips using the oven rack as a guide.
Season the tomato paste with the olive oil, the oregano, the salt and mix.
After the potatoes have cooked, drain all the water and transfer them to a large bowl.
Add the butter, season with the salt, a pinch of black pepper and mash everything very well until smooth.
Next, add parsley to taste and mix once more.
Now, in a large baking dish, add a drizzle of olive oil and spread it with a brush.
Add all the mashed potatoes we prepared and spread evenly.
Cover everything with the sauce we made and add the meat on top of everything.
Spray with olive oil to taste and spread with a brush.
Cover with aluminum foil, take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 50 minutes.
After this time has passed, add the grated mozzarella cheese,
Take it back to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
Serve.
