Start by cutting the lemons - first, cut off their tips, then cut the bottom part to form a lid.
Next, remove all the pulp from the lemons.
Transfer them all to a large bowl, add the granulated sugar, enough water to cover them and let them soak for 40 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add a drizzle of olive oil.
Add the onion chopped into small cubes and sauté until lightly golden brown.
Next, add the ground beef and sauté until all the moisture from the meat has evaporated.
Season with the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, the garlic powder and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Then add parsley to taste, stir to combine and remove the skillet from the heat.
After the lemons have soaked, remove them from the water and stuff each one with the meat we prepared.
Transfer everything to a large skillet and add the juice squeezed out of the lemons.
Turn the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet and let it all cook for 10 minutes.
Serve.
