Easy Homemade Stuffed Bread

In a bowl put the wheat flour and the dry yeast powder, mix them for 1 minute.Add the eggs, the melted butter (do not add it while hot), the salt, the refined sugar and the milk or water, mix it all together very well until combined.Grease a baking dish with butter and flour, pour the mixture in it and spread evenly. Let it rest for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. Cover with a cloth.As soon as it doubles in size, top it with the mozzarella slices, then add the sausage slices, and sprinkle oregano to taste.Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 40 to 50 minutes, do the toothpick test.Run a knife along the edges of the dish to release them.Serve.

  • 3 Cups (200ml Cup) of Wheat Flour
  • 1 Envelope of Dry Yeast Powder (10g)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons of Butter or Margarine (50g)
  • 2 Level Tablespoons of Refined Sugar
  • ½ Level Tablespoon of Salt
  • 2 Cups (200ml Cup) of Milk or Water

Optional Stuffing

  • 200g of Sliced Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Thinly Sliced Smoked Sausage
  • Oregano to Taste

As soon as it doubles in size, top it with the mozzarella slices, then add the sausage slices, and sprinkle oregano to taste.
