Start by grating the medium onions and pass them through a sieve to remove excess water.
Into a bowl, add the ground beef, the grated onion and season with salt, black pepper to taste, sweet paprika, chimichurri and parsley to taste. Using your hands, mix it all together very well. If you find it necessary, add some more spices to your taste.
Once you’ve done that, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let meat rest for 30 minutes.
After this time, get a chunk of meat in your hands and squeeze it into a sausage-like shape.
Get a skewer and insert it right in the center of the meat chunk.
Repeat this process until you’ve used up all the meat.
Once you’ve finished making all meat sticks, arrange them on your oven grill and brush some olive oil over each one.
Take them to a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and let them cook for about 40 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on the power of your oven.
Don't forget to leave a baking pan or grease-trap under the skewers while cooking.
Help yourself.
