Start by boiling the eggs in a pan filled with boiling water, let them boil for about 10 to 15 minutes.
The doneness of the egg is entirely up to you, you can boil until the yolk is runny or hard.
In a screw-lid jar, pour some very cold water and add the boiled egg, shake well for about 25 seconds.
