Sauce
Cut the edges of the cabbage, shaping it and leaving it squared.
Now into a saucepan filled with boiling water, add a piece of bread then add the green bits of the cabbage we’ve just chopped off.
Let them cook for 5 minutes.
After this indicated cooking time, remove the cabbage from the water and let it cool until it reaches room temperature.
Into a bowl, add the ground beef, the diced onion, the crushed garlic cloves, the olive oil or oil, the tomato paste and the black pepper, mix it all together very well.
Add the rice, parsley to taste, the salt, the juice of ½ lime, and mix well again until combined.
Now get a cabbage leaf and add 1 teaspoon of the meat filling.
After that, roll up the leaf over this filling, sealing it well.
Repeat this process with all the cabbage leaves.
Next, to make the sauce, into a bowl add the tomato paste, the water, the olive oil, the sweet paprika and the salt, mix very well. Set aside.
Into a skillet, add some leaves of cooked cabbage then arrange all the cabbage rolls we’ve prepared.
Pour the sauce over the rolls.
Let them cook over low heat for 1 hour.
Serve.
