Syrup
In a mixer, pour the eggs and whip for 6 to 8 minutes. Add the vanilla essence and the sugar gradually, keep whipping. Add some of the wheat flour and mix by hand.
Grease a baking dish with butter and flour, pour the mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 35 minutes.
To prepare the cream, pour the condensed milk into a pan, add the yolks and with the heat still off, mix very well. Add the corn starch and mix, add the vanilla essence and the milk and stir until combined over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Add the table cream, mix it all together.
Cut the baked cake in half, horizontally, moisten the bottom part of the cake with the syrup made of condensed milk + milk. Add the cream and spread well. Cover the cream with the other half of the cake and moisten it with the syrup.
Sift icing sugar on top, to taste.
