Beer Braised Pork Belly

Start by cutting the piece of pork belly in half.In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add a drizzle of vegetable oil.Add the pork belly we cut, with the meat facing down and fry until golden brown.Then, turn the meat over, add the beer, the soy sauce, the granulated sugar, the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, the granulated garlic, the fine herbs and mix everything together.Cover the skillet, let everything cook for 30 minutes and turn the meat over a few times during this period.Cut into thin strips and drizzle with the meat sauce.Add pepper and green onions to taste.Serve.

  • 1kg of Pork Belly
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 250ml of Beer
  • 50ml of Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon of Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sweet Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon of Granulated Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon of Fine Herbs
  • Pepper to Taste
  • Green Onions to Taste

Then, turn the meat over, add the beer, the soy sauce, the granulated sugar, the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, the granulated garlic, the fine herbs and mix everything together. 

Cover the skillet, let everything cook for 30 minutes and turn the meat over a few times during this period. 

Cut into thin strips and drizzle with the meat sauce. 

Add pepper and green onions to taste.

Serve.
