Into a bowl, add the eggs, the sugar and a pinch of salt, mix it all together very well until combined.
Add the wheat flour and mix well again. Once that's done, set aside.
Into a saucepan over medium heat, add the milk, the unsalted butter, the vanilla sugar and mix it all together very well until the butter melts. After that, turn off the heat and pour half of this mixture over the batter we’ve set aside.
Mix it all together very well until the batter absorbs all the milk mixture then add 1 ½ cups of wheat flour, add the rest of the milk mixture we’ve made, and mix it all together very well again until fully combined.
Add the baking powder and mix gently.
Pour the batter into a baking tin greased with butter and wheat flour.
Gently tap it to release the air from the batter.
Take it to a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 35 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the power of your oven.
Top it with some icing sugar and help yourself to a slice.
