Mashed Potatoes
Start by sticking toothpicks all over the whole chicken, including the wings and legs.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the milk and bring it to a boil.
Then, add the chicken we prepared and let it cook for 5 minutes.
After this time has passed, turn the chicken over and let it cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
Remove the chicken from the skillet, remove all the toothpicks and set aside.
In a small bowl, add the honey, the mustard, the soy sauce, the salt, the black pepper, the garlic powder and mix everything together very well until combined.
Next, spread this sauce all over the chicken and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover it with aluminum foil, take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and let it roast for 50 minutes.
Fill a large saucepan over medium heat with water and bring it to a boil.
Add the potatoes cut into smaller pieces, the salt and let them cook for 8 minutes.
After this time has passed, the potatoes are already cooked.
Drain all the water from them and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
Add the unsalted butter and mash until it forms a smooth puree.
Season it with a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, grated parmesan cheese, parsley to taste and mix everything together very well to combine.
After the chicken has finished roasting, take it out of the oven and brush it with the rest of the sauce we prepared.
Return it to the preheated oven and let it roast until golden brown.
Serve it with the mashed potatoes we prepared.
