Puff Pastry with Zucchini and Cheese

Start by grating the zucchini using the side of the grater with large holes.Next, transfer everything to a large colander, add the salt and mix everything very well.Let it rest for 5 minutes, then take a handful of this zucchini and squeeze it out to release all the liquid.Transfer to a medium bowl and add the grated Parmesan cheese.Season with a pinch of black pepper, the Italian seasoning and mix everything very well.Next, cut the puff pastry into circles.Place one tablespoon of the zucchini we prepared on top of each circle, add one slice of cooked ham and close everything with another pastry circle.Now, place a mixer beater in the center of each circle.Press it down and cut out the pastry into 8 equal parts, forming petals.Then twist each petal and repeat this process with all the pastry.Transfer everything to a large baking sheet and brush a beaten egg over everything.Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 40 minutes.Serve.

  • 600g of Puff Pastry
  • 6 Slices of Cooked Ham
  • 1 Beaten Egg

I read the recipe, it didn’t make sense! I would have passed on making it if not for the video!!!! I will purchase the ingredients and give it a try. Wawa, Ontario Canada
