Panettone Wreath Cakes

In a blender, add the eggs, the oil, the sugar, the milk, the dry yeast powder, the salt and the Panettone essence, let it all blend very well.Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the wheat flour, keep mixing well until the flour incorporates.Split this batter into 2 equal portions.To one of them, add the candied fruit, mix and set aside.To the other portion, add the chocolate chips, mix and set aside.Pour these batters in 2 ring cake pans greased with plenty of unsalted butter.Using a spoon wetted with water, evenly spread the batters in the pan.Top the cakes with some more candied fruit and chocolate chips.Let them grow for 1 hour.After this indicated time, take the cakes to a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for 50 minutes.Unmold and serve.

  • 1 Tablespoon of Panettone Essence 
  • 800g of Wheat Flour 
  • 200g of Candied Fruit 
  • 150g of Chocolate Chips

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the wheat flour, keep mixing well until the flour incorporates. 

Split this batter into 2 equal portions. 

To one of them, add the candied fruit, mix and set aside. 

To the other portion, add the chocolate chips, mix and set aside. 

Pour these batters in 2 ring cake pans greased with plenty of unsalted butter. 

Using a spoon wetted with water, evenly spread the batters in the pan. 

Top the cakes with some more candied fruit and chocolate chips.

Let them grow for 1 hour. 

After this indicated time, take the cakes to a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for 50 minutes. 

Unmold and serve.
