Orange Cake with Syrup

Into a blender, add the eggs, the oil, the orange juice and the sugar, blend very well. Transfer to a bowl and sift the wheat flour into this bowl. Using a whisk, mix it all together, add the baking powder and mix again.Grease a cake tin with butter and flour, transfer the batter to this tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40 to 60 minutes (do the toothpick test).Into a pan, add the orange juice and the sugar, mix nonstop until slightly thickened.Let it cool and pour this syrup over the cake.

Ingredientes

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Cup of Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup of Oil
  • 1 ½ Cups of Granulated Sugar
  • 2 ½ Cups of Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder

Syrup

  • 1 Cup of Orange Juice
  • ⅓ Cup of Granulated Sugar (or 80ml)
