Fruit Jam Dessert

Start by marking the puff pastry with a pot lid.Next, cut along the mark and trim the edges.Now, using a fork, prick the entire surface of the pastry.Then, brush it with a mixture of sugar and water.Take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 25 minutes.In a large saucepan over medium to low heat, add the frozen berries, the sugar and stir everything very well until the fruits melt.Now, dissolve the cornstarch in the water, add it to the jam and keep stirring until it thickens.Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the powdered sugar, the whipping cream and beat everything very well until stiff peaks form.To assemble the dessert, in a removable-bottom cake pan, add the puff pastry we baked earlier.Now, make a layer with the whipped cream and cover it with a layer of jam.Make another layer with the cream and cover it with more jam.Place the dessert in the fridge and let it chill for at least 1 hour.Next, cut another 300g of puff pastry.Cut it into circles using a ring cutter then place these circles on the oven rack.Take them to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake them for 20 minutes.After this time has passed, remove them from the oven and fill them with the remaining cream we prepared.To finish the dessert, cover its sides with pastry crumbs.Add the pastry shells we prepared and finish with strawberry syrup to taste.Serve.

  • 300g of Puff Pastry

  • 150g of Powdered Sugar
  • 500ml of Whipping Cream
  • +300g of Puff Pastry
  • Strawberry Syrup to Taste
