Cheesy Meatball Sliders

Start by the sweet rolls in half and set aside.In a small bowl, add the softened butter, the crushed garlic cloves, the grated parmesan cheese and mix everything very well.Spread this butter on the bottom part of the sliced rolls.Take to a large skillet over medium heat and toast until golden brown.Transfer to a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper.Add the tomato paste and spread it very well.Then, add the grated mozzarella cheese and a pinch of Italian seasoning.Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 5 minutes.Using a round pastry cutter, make holes on top of each sweet roll.Place them on top of the other half of bread rolls we baked and set aside.In a large bowl, add the ground beef, the egg, the crushed garlic cloves, the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the grated parmesan cheese, the breadcrumbs and mix everything very well until combined.Take half a tablespoon of this meat mixture, add 1 small piece of mozzarella cheese and close it, by shaping it into a meatball.Repeat this process with all the meat.Fry these meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat filled with hot oil for 5 minutes or until golden brown.Remove them from the hot oil and set aside on a plate with paper towels.Get the bread rolls we prepared earlier and fill each hole with 1 teaspoon of tomato paste.Brush the rest of the butter we prepared on top of everything.Add another 50g of grated Parmesan cheese, the grated mozzarella cheese, the fried meatballs, one in each hole, and +150g of grated mozzarella.Take it to a preheated oven at 200° C (400° F) and bake for 15 minutes.Serve.

Meatballs

  • 500g of Ground Beef
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Garlic Cloves

  • 75g of Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 100g of Breadcrumbs
  • 150g of Mozzarella Cheese (Piece)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 9 Teaspoons of Tomato Paste
  • +50g of Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 100g of Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • +150g of Grated Mozzarella Cheese

Add another 50g of grated Parmesan cheese, the grated mozzarella cheese, the fried meatballs, one in each hole, and +150g of grated mozzarella. 

Take it to a preheated oven at 200° C (400° F) and bake for 15 minutes.

Serve.
