Batter
In a medium bowl, add the jam, we’ve used grape jam here, but you may use any other fruit flavor you like.
Add the baking soda, mix until combined and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the eggs and using an electric mixer, beat them very well until foamy.
Add the vegetable oil and beat some more.
Next, add the sifted wheat flour and mix until combined.
Add the jam mixture we prepared earlier and mix again until well combined.
Now, chop the walnuts into very small pieces, add them to the batter and mix.
Then, transfer all the batter to a cake tin greased with butter and wheat flour.
Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and let it bake for 40 minutes.
Unmold the cake onto a nice plate and finish by sprinkling icing sugar to taste all over it.
Serve.

Sounds like Portuguese grape cake. I like that kind of cake so will definitely try this recipe.
