Syrup
Into a bowl, start by adding the wheat flour, the corn starch, the semolina flour, the turmeric, the vanilla powder and the baking powder, mix all the ingredients very well.
Add the table cream, the red food coloring and the water, mix well, if necessary, add some more food coloring until the batter turns red.
Now into a saucepan, add 3 fingers of oil, and once it’s hot enough, keep putting the batter through a skimmer, shaping it into droplets.
Let it all fry for 2 minutes.
Soak up the excess fat on a plate lined with paper towels.
Repeat this process with all the batter.
Into a skillet, add the sugar, the turmeric and the water, turn on the heat and stir for 1 minute.
Bring the liquid to a boil and add the lime juice, stir again and let it reduce into a syrup.
Transfer this syrup to a bowl and transfer the fried batter to this bowl, let it soak for 2 minutes.
After this indicated time, remove the fried batter from the syrup and transfer it to a nice serving plate
Serve.
