Topping/Assembly
Cut the potatoes into round slices and transfer them to a baking sheet. Spread them out, season with salt, black pepper, sweet paprika, oregano and add a drizzle of olive oil. Mix very well and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 30 minutes.
Chop the onion into dices, grate the mozzarella cheese and set both aside.
Into a saucepan, add the oil and the chopped onion, sauté until brown, add the crushed garlic cloves and sauté again. Add the ground beef and cook, season with salt and black pepper, stir and cook until the meat juices fully dry up. Turn off the heat and add some parsley and chives to taste, mix.
Transfer the meat to the baking sheet with the potatoes, evenly spread it, top it with grated cheese, tomato slices and oregano to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) until the cheese melts.
Serve.
