In a large bowl filled with water, add the sliced bread.
Soak the slices thoroughly then drain all the water by squeezing the slices.
In a large bowl, add the medium cooked potatoes, the bread we soaked and mix everything very well using your hands.
Add the red onion, the tomatoes and the green bell pepper all chopped into small cubes and mix again to combine.
Add the salt, the black pepper, the garlic powder, the sweet paprika, the chili flakes and the dried parsley.
Add the cornstarch and mix very well until combined.
Grease your hands with vegetable oil, take one tablespoon of this mixture and shape it into a flattened ball.
After doing that, coat each one in breadcrumbs.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom and let it heat up.
Add the flattened balls we prepared and fry them until golden brown.
Serve.
