Start by placing the dry yeast powder into a large container.
Add the warm water and mix everything very well.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
After this time has passed, add the sugar, the salt, the vegetable oil, the wheat flour and mix everything together very well until smooth and well combined.
Cover the bowl again and let the dough rise for one hour.
After this time has passed, in a large skillet over medium to low heat, add a drizzle of vegetable oil, the unsalted butter and stir everything very well until the butter is completely melted.
Next, transfer it to a large bowl, add the dough we prepared and mix everything very well until it becomes a smooth and even dough.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
After this time has passed, transfer the dough to the countertop and flatten it.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and knead very well to incorporate the cheese.
Next, separate ¼ of the dough and roll out this piece of dough until it’s neither too thin nor too thick.
Now cut it into thin strips and transfer the remaining dough to a baking bag.
Place the strips we just cut on top of this dough and close the baking bag.
Take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 40 minutes.
Serve.
