
Caramel
In a large skillet, add the flans, the egg, the sugar, the vanilla extract, the vegetable oil and mix everything thoroughly until the flans are fully dissolved.
Add the semolina and mix until fully combined.
Then add the baking powder and mix again to combine.
Next, spread the batter evenly across the skillet and cover the skillet.
Turn on the heat to low and let it cook for 10 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the sugar and spread it evenly.
When this sugar starts to melt, stir everything very well until fully dissolved.
Add the water and keep stirring until it turns into caramel.
After doing that, flip the cake in the skillet using a plate.
Cover the skillet again and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
Next, turn off the heat and pierce the entire cake using a fork.
Finish by pouring the caramel we prepared all over it.
Serve.
