Start by grating the mozzarella cheese and transfer all this cheese to a bowl, add the cornstarch and the egg, mix all the ingredients very well until a dough forms.
Now, shape this dough into a ball.
Transfer it to a cutting board and shape it into a rectangle.
Cut it into thin strips then into cubes.
Get one of these cubes and shape it into a ball.
Repeat this process until you’ve used up all the dough.
Now, in a skillet filled with hot oil, fry the balls until golden brown.
Transfer these fried balls to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the excess fat.
Serve with a dip of your choice.
