Start by cutting the onions into slices.
Then, remove the peels, separate the layers and set aside.
In a medium bowl, add the onion slices.
Add enough cold water to cover them, add some ice cubes and let everything soak for 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, add the egg and the milk.
Season with the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, the oregano and mix.
Add the wheat flour and mix again.
Dip the slices in this mixture we prepared and coat them in some Panko breadcrumbs.
Repeat this process with all the slices.
Next, transfer these breaded slices to the Air Fryer and let them cook for 10 minutes.
Serve with a dip of your choice.
