In a skillet over medium heat filled with hot vegetable oil, add the onions and fry them for 5 minutes.
Remove them from the hot oil and transfer them to a large bowl.
Add some ice cubes and stir to cool down the onions.
Next, peel the onions and set them aside.
In a large bowl, add the wheat flour, the eggs, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the salt, the sweet paprika, the black pepper, the water and mix.
Then, add the medium onions we prepared earlier and mix to incorporate them into the batter.
Remove the onions with a slotted spoon by draining the excess batter and set them aside.
Now, in the same batter, add the chicken drumsticks, mix well to incorporate and drain the excess batter.
Transfer the onions and the chicken drumsticks to a large pan over medium heat filled with hot vegetable oil and fry them until golden brown.
Serve.
